This guide covers how to use Valorant’s Duelist Agent, Jett. She relies heavily on her movement abilities to support her play style (most suited for aggression). She is often able to get to areas of the map no other person can reach due to her abilities.

Jett’s Abilities

Unique Agent Trait –

Unlike most agents in the game, Jett has 5 abilities, 4 signature abilities and 1 passive. Her passive, allows her to gently float down from height, instead of falling. This ability can easily be activated even by simply jumping and holding your jump key. It can be chained with her other abilities, without interrupting them.

Her 4 purchasable abilities are: Updraft, Cloudburst, tailwind and her ultimate, bladestorm.

Updraft – Bound to “Q” by default

This ability has no stage phase and is cast immediately upon pressing “Q”. Updraft Raises Jett into the air, allow her to reach areas of the map normally inaccessible (such as on top of single and double stacked boxes).

Updraft can be purchased twice per round and costs 200 credits each.

Tailwind – Bound to “E” by Default

Tailwind is a dash that allows Jett to cross sight lines quickly, close distances to enemies and reposition to gain an advantage on enemies. It can be used in combination with her other movement abilities in any order.

Updraft is not purchasable, instead you start every round with it and requires two kills to recharge upon use during a round.

Cloudburst – Bound to “C” by Default

Like Jett’s other abilities, this ability is also not stageable, instead launching instantly upon pressing the C key, it launches an orb that expands, large enough to block sightlines for a short period of time.

This ability can be bought up to three times per round for 100 credits each.

Blade Storm – Bound to “X” by Default

Possibly one of the flashiest ultimates in Valorant, Jett equips 5 throwing knifes that recharge upon killing an opponent. This means a max possible of 25 knifes (assuming it takes 5 to kill each opponent). Each knife deals a max of 150 for a headshot and 50 to the body).

The ult can be used in two ways, by either right or left clicking. Left clicking results in each knife being thrown in succession, whist right clicking throws the knifes all at once.

Her ultimate takes 6 points to charge, with each round and kill granting a point.
